FreshGrid Cleaner (“FreshGrid Cleaner,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) values your privacy and is committed to protecting information associated with your use of our application. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use FreshGrid Cleaner, why it may be processed, how it may be shared, how long it may be retained, and what rights and choices you may have. By using FreshGrid Cleaner, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
About FreshGrid Cleaner
FreshGrid Cleaner is a file-cleaning and storage management application that helps users scan their device for advertising cache, outdated APK files, residual data, temporary data, and other files that may no longer be needed. Users can review the detected items, select the categories or files they wish to remove, and delete the selected content to free up storage space.
To provide these core functions, FreshGrid Cleaner requires file management access, including All Files Access where applicable. This access is used to scan supported files, analyze storage usage, identify file categories, display relevant information, and remove files only according to actions initiated by the user.
Information Processed by the App
FreshGrid Cleaner is designed so that its core file-scanning and cleaning operations are performed locally on the user's device. Files discovered during scanning, including photos, videos, APK files, cache files, temporary files, residual files, and other storage content, are not uploaded to our servers for processing.
We do not intentionally collect or store the contents of users' personal files, documents, photos, videos, audio files, or other personal file content through our core cleaning functions. The App also does not require users to create an account or provide information such as their name, telephone number, or physical address in order to use its core features.
However, certain third-party services integrated into the App may process limited technical, advertising, attribution, or analytics information as described below.
Third-Party Services
FreshGrid Cleaner may use third-party service providers to support advertising, attribution, application analytics, crash or performance analysis, Firebase-related services, and advertising mediation or aggregation. These services may process information such as device or application identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, operating system information, application version, advertising information, interaction events, diagnostic information, and other technical information permitted by the applicable service.
The specific information processed depends on the third-party service and the user's device, consent choices, and applicable laws.
Attribution Platforms: Attribution services may process advertising identifiers, installation information, campaign information, and certain device or event information to determine how users discovered or installed the App and to measure advertising campaign performance.
Data Analytics Platforms: Analytics services may process information about how users interact with the App, such as feature usage, session information, events, device type, operating system, application version, and diagnostic or performance information. This information is used to understand App usage and improve reliability and functionality.
Firebase: FreshGrid Cleaner may use Firebase services for analytics, diagnostics, performance monitoring, messaging, or other application-support functions. Firebase may process technical and usage information in accordance with Google's applicable privacy terms and policies.
Advertising Mediation/Aggregation Platforms: The App may use advertising aggregation or mediation platforms to manage and optimize advertisements from multiple advertising networks. Such platforms may process advertising-related and device-related information. In particular, the aggregation platform may collect “Installed apps” information for “Advertising or marketing” purposes. This information may be used to help select, personalize, measure, or improve advertising, subject to applicable laws and the user's available privacy choices.
Third-party providers may act as independent controllers or processors depending on the service and applicable law. Their processing is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms.
File Management Permission
FreshGrid Cleaner requires broad file management access because its main functionality involves examining different types of files and storage locations on the device. The permission allows the App to identify supported files, calculate storage usage, categorize files, and remove files selected by the user.
The App does not use this permission to upload the user's files to our servers. File scanning and cleaning are performed locally on the device. Users remain in control of which files are selected and deleted.
How We Use Information
Where information is processed, it may be used for purposes including:
- Providing and maintaining FreshGrid Cleaner's functionality;
- Scanning and managing files locally on the device;

Legal Bases for Processing

Sharing of Personal Data
We do not sell your personal data as part of our ordinary business operations. We may share limited information with third-party service providers when necessary to provide analytics, attribution, advertising, Firebase services, advertising mediation, security, technical support, or other App-related services.
We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, court order, governmental authority, or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users, property, or the security of the App.
The core file content processed by FreshGrid Cleaner remains on your device and is not shared with our servers or third-party providers through the App's file-cleaning functionality.
Your Choices Regarding Sharing and Sale
Where applicable law gives you the right to opt out of the sharing or sale of personal data, you may exercise that right through privacy controls, consent settings, advertising settings, or other choices provided within the App or your device.
You may also contact us using the DPO contact information below and request that applicable sharing or sale of your personal data be stopped. We will process such requests in accordance with applicable law. Please note that opting out of certain data processing may affect advertising personalization, analytics, attribution, or other non-essential functionality.
You may also reset or limit your device's advertising identifier or adjust applicable advertising/privacy controls through your device settings.
Data Retention
FreshGrid Cleaner does not retain users' personal files on our servers because core file scanning and cleaning take place locally on the device.
For information processed through third-party services, retention periods may vary depending on the provider, the type of information, the purpose of processing, and applicable legal requirements. Such information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant service, perform analytics, maintain security, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, or satisfy legitimate business requirements.
When information is no longer required for these purposes, it will be deleted, anonymized, or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable retention requirements and the relevant provider's policies.
